Our Story
From Soil to Soul — A Spice Renaissance
From the ancient trade winds of the Malabar Coast to the sun-drenched valleys of Kashmir, Indian spices are the soul of our soil. For generations, our ancestors didn't just cook — they crafted, blended, roasted and healed.
Retake was born from a simple frustration: spices on the shelf rarely tasted like the ones our grandmothers ground by hand. So we went back — to the farms, the sun-drying courtyards, and the stone grinders of India — to bring you spices exactly as they were meant to taste.
Every jar of Retake is a small act of rebellion against mass-produced, adulterated masalas. We partner directly with farming communities across Kashmir, Kerala, Rajasthan and Gujarat — paying fair prices and preserving traditional processing methods that big brands left behind.
"We're not inventing spices. We're just taking them back to where they belong — pure, honest, and full of soul."
